Rental of almost 14,000 sqm of logistics and storage space in "Hôtel Industriel des Galants"

The building "Hôtel Industriel des Galants" (HIG), owned by Credit Suisse

As part of its development mandate with Credit Suisse, SPG Intercity has leased approximately 14,000 sqm of logistics space to DeinDeal (Ringier Group) and Sieber transports AG in the heart of the ZIMEYSA in Meyrin.

These two fast-growing companies have found in the HIG an answer to their need to expand their logistics and administrative spaces.

The growing e-commerce platform DeinDeal.ch, which is still developing new markets, has chosen the HIG building to house its 13,000 sqm  of logistics and 180 employees under one roof.

High ceilings that allow the automation of storage, secure premises, numerous loading docks and attic offices with terraces and a breathtaking view of the ZIMEYSA have seduced this key player among the Swiss online shopping platforms.

DeinDeal is thus getting closer to one of its logistics partners, the family-owned Sieber Transports group, which provides innovative logistics solutions at an international level and is still establishing its presence in Geneva with this site.

This year, SPG Intercity is pleased to support the Credit Suisse in the letting of this latest-generation mixed-use building where there is still storage space available for rent from 900 sqm upwards.

The attractiveness of logistics premises

By 2020, SPG Intercity will have rented more than 25,000 sqm of logistics and storage space. This strong demand is due to a logistics sector that is undergoing rapid changes and expansion due to the development of e-commerce.

Companies are looking to increase efficiency in a context where delivery demands are exploding. Moving to new and better adapted premises allows for warehouse automation by installing robots and thus improving the ratio of usable floor space.
